FLOATER LEAD TEACHER  

Helping classroom teachers to maintain children’s development and hold daily liabilities. 

  • Take Lead Teacher’s responsibilities in the classroom when she is absent. 
  • Clean, sanitation and disinfecting of equipment and toys.
  • Help to create monthly curriculum. 

Skills Required 

  • Must have group leader qualification.
  • Classroom management skills.
  • Knowledge of child development. 
  • Ability to manage children’s behavior. 
  • Well communication skills.  
  • Physical ability sufficient to frequently bend, stoop and lift up to 50 pounds.


ASSISTANT TEACHER

Providing a true play-based environment, creating monthly curriculum, supporting children’s development and emphasizing a child's social and emotional growth.

  • Organize and lead activities designed to promote physical, mental and social development, such as games, arts and crafts, music, storytelling and field trips.
  • Help to create monthly curriculum.
  • Spend quality time with each parent about their children with respect and dignity. 
  • Keep up with changing regulations by Licensing, Colorado Shines and NAEYC.
  • Clean, sanitation and disinfecting of equipment and toys.
  • Serve meals in accordance with nutritional guidelines, incorporating self-serve snack and family-style serving at lunch whenever appropriate.

Required Skills

  • Should have two ECE classes and minimum one year experience.
  • Well communication skills.
  • Physical ability sufficient to frequently bend, stoop and lift up to 50 pounds.

 

DIRECTOR

Maintaining collaborative community environment, providing a true play-based environment that is supported by ongoing professional development, and emphasizing  a child's social and emotional growth.

  • Hire, train, and direct the teachers who will develop and implement a learning experience that reflects the vision, mission, goals, values and atmosphere of the Happy Ladybug Early Learning Center.
  • Support teachers, office manager, teaching assistants’ daily goals, curriculum, maintaining program to have an opportunity to observe daily routine and create new strategic goals.     
  • Spend quality time with each parent about their children with respect and dignity. 
  • Lead monthly staff meetings. 
  • Enroll new children and ensure their file is complete with all state and local licensing regulations. 
  • Maintains accurate records of the appropriate health history, allergies and limitations of each child served.
  • Work with the owner and the bookkeeper to establish and maintain an annual budget for the school.
  • Keep up with changing regulations by Licensing, Colorado Shines and NAEYC.

Skills Required 

  • Hold a Colorado State Director Certification and maintain all professional affiliations and accreditation. 
  • Must be growing in skills needed to maintain and expand vision of the Happy Ladybug Early Learning Center. 
  • Willingness to develop professionally.
  • Has at least 3 years experiences working in Early Learning Center.
  • Has a comprehensive understanding of children's needs and development.
  • Able to interview and evaluate prospective teachers and provide training after hire date.
  • Ability to function independently. 
  • Ability to speak and write on matters relating to children's needs and development.
  • Physically able to lift up to 25 lbs (with or without assistance).
  • This position also may require prolonged periods of sitting, standing up and walking.
